Frequently Asked Questions
All answers about our electrolytic capacitors.
Which product families do you offer?
Aluminum electrolytic capacitors (radial, SMD, snap-in, screw terminal), solid polymer capacitors, and film capacitors.
How to select capacitors for power stages?
Check $V_{rated} \ge 1.25\text{–}1.5 \times V_{DC}$, ripple current, ESR, lifespan (hours @ °C), temperature rating, and size/package.
Which temperature ratings are available?
Typically 105 °C / 125 °C; consider ambient temperature plus self-heating.
How is the lifespan estimated?
Based on the series rated lifespan using the Arrhenius rule (approx. 10 °C reduction $\approx$ doubling of lifespan).
Polymer vs. Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors?
Polymer offers extremely low ESR; aluminum is more economical at higher voltages and capacities.
Compliance and certifications?
RoHS / REACH; AEC-Q200 options are available upon request.
Which documents are available?
Datasheets, ripple current/ESR reports, 2D/3D models, and CoC (Certificate of Conformity).
Lead times and samples?
Samples within 1–3 weeks; mass production and schedules are confirmed upon request for quotation (RFQ).
